CivilTech is taking the initiative to assist internationally trained men and women with a background of engineering to get their proper designation as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada. This initiative is a collaboration between CivilTech EduHub Inc. and COLOMBIRAN to form an Engineering Hub for Farsi and/or Spanish speaking newcomers to Canada.
COLOMBIRAN, a private social enterprise for newcomers, acts as a connecting bridge between this unique engineering initiative and the society of newcomers from all 32 engineering disciplines.
Internationally trained engineers and new graduates can consider this collaboration a professional mentor and friend in the process of not only obtaining their P.Eng. designation, but also establishing a proper engineering career. The collaboration offers a unique method of education/mentor-ship toward obtaining the professional engineering license in all provinces of Canada.
COLOMBIRAN’s Role
As an NGO and Multinational Social Enterprise with the function and mandate of carrying nonprofit projects across Canada to develop the cultural, social, and economical aspects of ethnic Canadian communities and particularly the new arrivals to the country, COLOMBIRAN will leverage its full potentials to act as a connecting bridge between this unique engineering educational program of CivilTech, and the communities of newcomers in Canada, from all 32 engineering disciplines
